First and foremost, welcome to the Fuel. Move. Recover. (FMR) Family. We are grateful for your membership and glad to have you. This phrase “FMR Family” is not just words but something that Advancing Athletics as an organization will stand by.
At Advancing Athletics, “We believe that elite-level guidance for performance and wellness should be affordable and accessible to those who protect and serve.”
By becoming a member of FMR, you help to get this information out to those who need it most!
FMR was inspired by our role in the creation and execution of high-profile wellness programs in which the content was inaccessible or unaffordable for most. This inspired us to want to match your memberships with ENTIRELY FREE one-day seminars, called FMR Live, for those who would otherwise not have access to this information because of where they live and serve. Because the Advancing Athletics HQ is in Ohio, we will first host these FMR Live events in the Buckeye state. However, as the FMR Family grows, we will travel far and wide to give back to those who protect and serve. To reward you for your help, we will help each of you improve your performance and wellness while providing you with a little entertainment.
Let’s explain how we are going to get the information to you and the Family.
Our company, this platform, and our efforts are centered around the idea that quality guidance on performance and wellness should be affordable and accessible to those who protect and serve. This is how we hope to make it a reality.
The content you can expect from us is as follows:
First, we have Fuel Week. Our stellar Dietician, Lindsay, will post an article to help improve your performance and wellness through fuel. Afterward, we will dive deeper into the article, discussing some of your thoughts, on that weeks’ episode of the FMR Podcast (you can listen here or wherever you get your podcasts).
Second, we have Move Week. Our Movement Expert, Alex, will post an article about improving movement and the effect it has on your performance and wellness. We will then discuss the Move article during that weeks’ FMR Podcast episode, following a similar format to the Fuel Week’s podcast.
Third, we have Recover Week. Our Recover Expert, Michele, will round out the weekly FMR staples with how to leverage recovery techniques for better performance and wellness with a podcast to follow, as stated above.
Fourth, and most importantly, we have Family Week. As the most important week of the month, this one belongs to you, our patrons. During Family Week and beyond, this is what you can expect as being a part of the FMR Family.
Those of you with Community Guardian memberships are the backbone of this Family. Your subscription allows us to fund and execute FMR Live. In return, you will have full and exclusive access to all of the content we produce for Fuel. Move. Recover. Furthermore, we will collect your questions, comments, concerns, thoughts, and ideas each week to be discussed on that week’s podcast. For Family Week we will have a “mailbag” episode where we only discuss your questions. Lastly, Alex, Lindsay, and Michele will offer you exclusive promos and special offers to reward your patronage for helping us improve the lives of your brothers and sisters.
Those of you with Protect & Serve memberships will have the same opportunity to access content and participate in the podcast as Family members with Community Guardian plans. During Family Week, you will be able to participate in a live Webinars where you can get your questions answered directly. The webinar in which you participate rotates monthly to ensure you get time with each FMR teammate. If you are curious to learn from the other topics or have a scheduling conflict, you will have exclusive access to the entire catalog of webinars for Protect & Serve members. You will always have access to the entire catalog as long as your membership is active! Lastly, your Protect & Serve plan-level membership makes you an FMR Podcast Producer. As a Producer, you will be able to shout-out a group or charity of your choice. Whether you choose your own precinct/firehouse/military unit or a charity you support, you are helping us recognize the sacrifice and work your squad does or bring awareness to a cause that is important to you.
