When I think of fasting I recall the years of childhood not being able to eat in the hour leading up to mass. As a kid it was misery, but fasting has gotten a facelift since the 80s and it turns out its much more manageable when you make the decision to fast rather than someone else telling you to do it!
Fasting is an age old practice used for health, spirituality, mental clarity and, of course, the dreaded colonoscopy. Fasting is a tool, that when used mindfully, can provide great mental and physical benefits and actually simplify your life.
